Can we use IMail.Fetchlimit parameter in POP3 protocol in Mail Sender adapter?

Hi all,

In multiple blogs and SAP documents , i can see we can't  use Additional parameters like IMail.FetchLimit in POP3 and its used in only IMAP4 . But we using in POP3  protocol in MAIL sender adapter and its working fine.

Now we are confusion like is it recommended to use additional parameter IMail.FetchLimit in POP3 ?
